Pair 18th century English whales teeth with scrimshaw. It is very difficult to find matching pieces. This pair of scrimshaw with engraved etchings of a sailor and his bride or girl friend are from England and date to around 1790. Measure 5 and one half inches each

Antique Appalachian oak splint buttocks gathering basket by Mary Clausby Burke county North Western Mountains of North Carolina. c1900. This is the best buttocks basket we have ever seen. Tight weaving, perfect patina, excellent condition. The unusual twist knot on the handle was her signature. This basket is a 10. Measures 12 inches by 11 inches by 9 and one half.

Early Fraktur Pennsylvania German folk art watercolor on paper. This fraktur had been folded at one time and is now laid down on paper. The piece is hand colored. There are flowers, leaves and vnes. Measures 7 and three quarters by 6 and one half inches.( American fraktur had its roots in medieval European decorated manuscript art. Fraktur transferred to this country in the German language with German-speaking immigrants who began arriving late in the Seventeenth Century from the Rhineland-Pfaltz area of Germany, from Alsace in today's France, and from Switzerland.) RARE antique textile Jacquard coverlet by J Fritzinger Allen Town 1846. This jacquard is in very good original condition with two small holes which we show pictures of. The colors are a very unusual red rose and beautiful delicious apple green. Measures 72 inches wide to edge of fringe and 89 inches long. The Jacquard loom is a mechanical loom, invented by Joseph Marie Jacquard in 1801
